Andrew's Story
Graduated.... Thought it all would just take off in the direction I saw,. Had this great ideal, you know? Cooking/baking. Tried culinary college, partied and partied, failed after 1st semester. Went through a ton of bad jobs, couldn’t get my life together, picked too many horrible relationships......got put in prison. I was so clueless. ROCK BOTTOM, it really was not what I expected. I guess nobody sees the worst coming. So I survived hell, and I picked up every skill and self-taught lesson I could find, armed myself with humility and knowledge. Fought...Expand for more
so hard to see freedom, sometimes literally to survive. I did more than 20 years- now I get to try and start over: twenty years behind in everything....restarting relationships with family and the 2 grownup daughters I only know through letters and phone calls- working- remembering how to be free-all this new technology-and life. THAT IS WHERE I AM NOWADAYS. I’m alive, a little more broken and humbled, a little wiser, but I am surviving. And I now know why a caged bird still dreams of flying...2nd chances. At least I’m baking again, one step forward....
