I never joined Facebook or posted personal info on other social media - just never thought it was to my advantage for the whole world to see; however I don't mind sharing with old schoolmates. As such, pardon the volume of so many additional album pictures, but this is my catch-up alternative to Facebook: As for the end of ‘Stage One’ of my life, in 1979 I graduated from VA Tech with a Batchelors of Science degree, going on to a Master’s program at Augusta College (now Augusta University)., In 1981 I began working as a Field Agent selling life and health insurance in Roanoke Va. with Torchmark Corporation subsidiary Globe Life and Accident Insurance Company, soon becoming the leading sales agent nationally. I spent a total of 31 years in various sales management and executive management positions in the Financial Services industry, eventually retiring in 2011 in concurrent roles as President and Chief Marketing Officer of several Torchmark Corporation subsidiary companies: President and CMO of Liberty National Life Insurance Company (founded 1900, the oldest life insurer in the Southeast US; was in Birmingham AL but we relocated it to McKinney, TX), as well as President and CMO of United American Insurance Company (was in Dallas, also relocated it to McKinney TX).
