Angela's Story
Life
After 8 years of teaching elementary education, I fled the politics and am my own boss at a Pilates studio here in Huntington Beach. It's right around the corner from Marina inside South Coast Athletic Club. It's called Evolve Conditioning.
My husband is in the Motocross business, so we travel to the races alot, he more so than me. It's not exactly what I thought i'd be doing, but it sure is a hell of a lot more fun and keeps you young and looking great!
College
I seriously took forever, but it was great along the way. I worked two jobs and went to school untill I decided to go to University. It took me three years to complete C...Expand for more
hapman University, I graduated with a double major (spanish/peace studies)in 1996. I took about 6 months off and went back to get a teaching credential, then a masters in education. I traveled a lot in college and lived in different places....Austraila, Spain, Cuba. I learned so much from traveling on my own and living with families!
Workplace
I began as a teacher and taught grades 4 and 5 for six years in Public school, one summer of 2nd grade and the rest in 1st grade at a private school. Now I own my own Pilates business, Evolve Conditioning, and teach Pilates. I make my own hours and make more money than I did teaching. I'm loving it!
