Angie's Story

Life Hello all! My life.. I have two teenagers and I have been married 14 years now to a previously divorced Las Vegas born man. I was born in Beech Grove, Indiana, moved to Oklahoma when I was 12 years old. I have always felt like I had a purpose, to make people smile. I didn't care what anyone thought of me as long as I made sure that anyone around me was happy. I am still that way, in a sense. I feel like I am not being who I want to be if I am not the silly one in the room. Call it what you wish wearing my "freak flag" or "the life of the party"...lol I have 2 kids of my own a daughter 15 and a son 17, also an 18 year old step son. I have been on a bowling league with my husband for about 5 years now. I thought that might surprise everyone. It still surprises me every week..lol! I am not good at it by any stretch of the imagination. But it is nice to get out of the house and very good exercise. I am here at classmates to hook up with old friends. Thanks for reading I am appreciative for your interest in my profile, if you remember me at all, I would love to hear from you. Send me some mail! School I attended Acton Elementary in Acton, Indiana from Kindergarten to 4th grade then after parents divorced was transferred to Wanamaker Elementary in Wanamaker, IN. We moved again to Waverly, IN and I went to Waverly Elementary for 5th grade. Then we moved back to Wanamaker and I went a year at Franklin Township Middle School during 6th grade. We moved to Decatur, IN and I attended Decatur Middle school for the first half of 7th grade. My mother transferred out of state to Oklahoma and I went to Yukon Independence Middle School in Yukon, OK for 7th and 8th grade. We then moved again to Mustang, OK from 9th to 12th grade and I graduated from Mustang High School. While at Mustang I attended Canadian Valley Vo-tech in El Reno, OK taking Commercial and Graphics Arts c...Expand for more
lass and while in Vo tech I was voted (VICA)Vocational Industrial Clubs of America reporter for the school, for two years. We also won first place for the regions parliamentary procedure team taking us to state. These were the best times of my life in high school. In 1990, I decided to go to college and enrolled at Oklahoma Junior College in Oklahoma City majoring in Business Administration. I went for about 4 months .. and unfortunately I have not completed my required Business Administration courses. College I attended Oklahoma Junior College majored in Business Administration. I did not complete. =( Workplace My first job was at Sonic in Mustang,OK when I was 15 1/2, then on to Southwest Garden Center, from there I was Dizzy Mae at Molly Murphy's then on to 579 in Crossroads Mall, moved to Indiana for about a year and worked at McDonalds, moved back to OK worked at ARA Janitorial in the AT&T plant cleaning offices. My Bestest buddy of all time, Jennifer Rice from Canadian Valley Vo-tech hooked me up with a second job at Reserve National Insurance, she moved to Idaho so we lost contact. I worked with Debbie Kelly doing phone sells for about 2 weeks. We had to get donations for handicapped and offer them light bulbs or trash bags for their donations...then I went to 7-11 worked my way up to assistant manager, met my husband at a country bar called In Cahoots I went on to work for Friendly Bank ..quit working for a while until Ladonna Parrish Jones, one of my friends from high school and I decided to become business partners (BIG MISTAKE)and ran our own cleaning business, we went our separate ways costing us a friendship for about 9 years, and then after about 8 years of running my own cleaning business called Nitty Gritty Cleaning Services I called it quits and now do secretarial/bookkeeping from my home for my husbands cabinet shop in Bethany called JDK Enterprises.
