Angie's Story
Life
Hello everyone. I didn't realize how long it had been since I updated my information. So, here is the latest.
I graduated from seminary in May 2006. Seminary is great, but it is tough. A Mastor of Divinity requires 87 hours of credit. Wow! That's a lot, but boy did I learn.
I am pastoring in the United Methodist Church in Arkansas. I love it.
My daughter is now in Jr. High. She continues to have straight A's and dreams of a career as a lawyer. She plays volleyball and softball, competes with the Quiz Bowl team, is competing in the regional Spelling Bee, and so much more.
Send me an email. I like keeping in touch with folks from the past.
School
Being a Navy Brat meant that I moved around a lot. I was in Kindergarten and 1st grades in Hawaii, 2nd grade in Indiana, 3rd and 4th grades in Maryland, 5th and 6th grades in Hawaii, 7th through 9th in Virginia and 10th through 12th in Arkansas. I attended 5 different schools.
I enjoyed being at most of them. It was difficult at times...Expand for more
having to make new friends everytime we moved, but I learned a lot from the experience.
College
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Education degree at the University of Central Arkasas. My area of emphasis was Special Education. I have completed seminary and have recieved a Master of Divinity degree in May 2006.
Workplace
I am now a pastor in the United Methodist Church. After teaching for 9 years, I entered ministry, first serving as a Children's Pastor and now as the church pastor.
Other ministry positions I held while going to college and teaching: SS teacher, youth director, singles ministry coordinator.
Schools I have taught at:
Brinkley, Arkansas - Partee Elementary School, self-contained special education teacher
Little Rock, Arkansas - Centers for Youth and Families, Elizabeth Mitchell Adolescent Center, Educational Therapist (secondary grades)
Vilonia, Arkansas - Vilonia Jr. High School, self-contained special education teacher (also had the students from Vilonia MIddle School)
