Anita's Story
Life
My life so far has had as many ups as downs. I am currently living in California, Berkeley to be exact and I volunteer at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society 3 days a week. One of the toughest times in my life was the year 2000,my father got diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and died in August of the same year. Out of that misery came my involvement with the Society and there's no looking back.In 2004 my mother got diagnosed with breast cancer and died in Septmber of 2006. I am still volunteeringut now it's with the Women's Cancer Resource Center and it's only once a wee...Expand for more
k and it's closer to my home. I am married and my husband is my best friend and greatest supporter. I visit NJ regularly because my siblings still live there and friends also. I went to the reunion this January and it was terrific! Feel free to contact me, or if you happen to be in San Francisco, just give me a ring, I'm in the book.
I hope that my friends remember me because I was voted quietest for our Senior yearbook. Yes, I was shy and I still kind of am, but not shy enough to not go on Facebook and Twitter and have many friends at both places, some even from high school.
