Ann's Story
After a 20-year career working for the U.S. Department of Energy Office in Grand Junction, Colorado, I earned my master's degree in Computers in Education and taught for 20 years at Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Moriah. My youngest son, Drew, at 35, is still coaching middle school kids in Telluride. I'm heading up this weekend (end of March 2024) to ski with my daughter and granddaughters at Powderhorn. My husband, Eph Holmes, retired from skiing on his 80th birthday and hence we moved to Montrose, Colorado, where we have mountains all around us, but we're basically in high desert. I sing with the Montrose Valley Symphony Chorus, as well as my church choir. I've been active in several women's organizations: DAR, DOK, and PEO. I still dabble in graphic arts projects for non-profits.
