Life
Hi, anyone out there who remembers me, please contact me.
I'd love to hear from you. Lordy, where to begin? Here goes:
Moved from Brownsville after dad passed away in 1959 & returned home to Shreveport, La. Went to Business School, met & married a military man. We were transferred to Oscoda,
Michigan. The morning after we were discharged and on route
to Houston, Tx. (got as far as Lexington,Ky.)to go into business w/his father, we were in major car accident. He was
killed almost instantly. My son (Mark - 3yrs then) flew on
to Houston. I stayed there & worked for approx. 3 yrs., then
came home to Shreveport, La. In l968 re-married: Bill Gammill. Have been married for 32 years now, worked as legal
secretary until about 6 yrs. ago, then retired. Bill is a
Korean & Vietnam vet. He is retired from Arkla Gas Co. Just
had the one son. Have one grandson who is now 18yrs. Son
remarried 4 yr. ago and now they are expecting in December.
So It will be like being a new grandmother all ove...Expand for more
r again.
On top of that, I've agreed to keep "baby". My life has been
good, but don't think The Lord is thru moulding me yet.LOL.
Have had a life full of "Bill's". First love named Bill, Dad's name Bill, oldest bro. name Bill, first husband named
Bill and husband of 32 yrs. named Bill. We love to fish.
Have a camp about 17 mi. from where we live. Hunted in my
younger days, have raised a garden ever year since I was 20 yrs.old, most of them pretty big. I've now reduced it down to just small one in back yard. Still do my own yard work. We're real active in our church and that keeps me pretty busy most of the time. My son & wife just live in next subdv. so he's remained close to home except when he was in the military. Run eBay auctions in spare time (seller). Well that about sums it up for me. Would love to hear from
anyone out there :) Oh forgot, I
worked for 2 yrs. in our Church School teaching 5 yr. olds to read
in 30 days using the Accelerated Christian Education Program. Bye now.
