Ann's Story
Life
I graduated from East Carolina University with a BA in Communications/Journalism. I am currently a Highway Programming Analyst at the NC Department of Transportation.
In 1999, I became a freelance makeup artist for print, tv and film and founded the NC Makeup Artists Network (NCMUA), a group designed to give makeup artists an opportunity to exchange ideas, job offers, and other information online. In my spare time, I write and record music and perform(vocals) with local musicians. I formed a pop cover band called Cherry that played all over the triangle area until around 2012. In 2017 i began singing with another band called 1999 Problems. Among other performances, we were fortunate to be able to perform with the late Biz Markie.
