Ann's Story
Well, since we're finally having a reunion and someone was able to find me - a miracle I think - I should catch you up on what's been going on in my life since High School.
After graduation I went to the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana and majored in music ed. Had a TERRIBLE (mean) piano professor who scared me to death and ended up switching to voice :0. Married John Hartshorne in 1967, had a serious car accident that fall and ended up dropping out of school. Had two wonderful boys, got divorced in 1976. self. I got remarried to a wonderful man in 1978 and between us we have 7 children and 12 grandchildren. Ray (my husband) supported my returning to school and I received my bachelor's in piano performance from Kent State in 1995.
I've been teaching piano for 37 years. I also teach English as a Second Language at our church and play keyboards there on Sundays. I took up the flute last year and am playing in a local concert band. Tomorrow I'm playing keyboards in a rock band at a Tax day Tea Party.
So that's about it. Can't wait to reunite with everyone at the reunion.
