Ann's Story
I am a single mother of three children (two boys and a girl in the middle). I read, write and create whatever floats into my mind to create from woodwork to beaded jewelry (guess you could say I'm kind of diverse).
I always wanted to be a writer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a strange idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. The reason for my passion to write comes from a contest I entered many years ago.

ory, a play actually, for a contest that was being held for the older students at the school I went to. I was allowed to enter my submission into the contest and won honorable mention for it. It was a really big moment for me to be on a level with middle school students while only a fourth grader myself. That is the moment that I knew I wanted to write and although I switched from stories/plays to poetry, I still find time to write a short story or two every now and then.
