Anne's Story
Life
Graduated NCCC 1985 Computer Programming, worked at group of national environmental labs from 1988-98 as Purchasing Coordinator, then part time occassional (4 wks/yr)as substitute receptionist (for Doug Golding's Mom) until October of 2006. Stay at home Mom for 11 year old Type I diabetic son Kendall. Married to Ron Bazinet since 1992. I was Treasurer of Holmes School Association, ran the school store, worked on playground committee, Tonawandans Opposed to Super Span, Parent rep for Chemical testing committee at school and the Kiwanis Kids. Now that Kendall is at Kenmore Middle (he skipped 3rd grade) I am enjoying "retirement." I was diagnosed with psoriatic...Expand for more
arthritis about 14 years ago, and it has progressed so that I am now unable to work. I occasionally see some of the old crew around town, or connected with school functions.
Workplace
Worked at Irr Supply for 2 yrs after college, took winter off, worked for CECOS for 4 months 'til headquarters moved, went to Recra Environemental for accounting. Switched to Purchasing worked full time til November 1998. Recra sold to Severn Trent went back part time to help transition. Then worked approximately 4 weeks per year as substitute receptionist and filled in where needed when available (Data Processing Purchasing...) until I was physically unable to continue working.
