Anne's Story
A month after graduating I moved to Vancouver, BC and attended Simon Fraser University for 4 1/2 yrs, getting a degree in Crim and Psych. Worked various jobs with the Vancouver Police - as a Reserve and as a Com Op doing 911 and non emerg calls and some dispatching. Just after Expo '86, I ended up with an opportunity to work at Club Med and spent a year and a half working and having a great time in Mexico. moved to Tel Aviv to be with him.. It was a great experience to be in a country where I couldn't speak or read the language, but after 9 mo's there, I knew I couldn't live there so came home. I was then hired by VPD as a police officer in Jan. '91 and spent the next 27 yrs in a varied and interesting career as a police officer. One failed marriage in the mix there, but in 2004 met my wonderful hubby and we are now retired and living in Vernon, BC. Loving the Okanagan life!
