My life so far: I grew up on Osbourne Avenue with 5 brothers and sisters (see my family photo). I went to Kimberly Public School-Glen Ames and then Danforth Technical School. I hung around Main and Gerrard Streets. My main hang outs were Art's Restaurant, Ted Reeve Arena (The Shack) and Main Street Pool Hall, Dino's owned by Chris and Christine? George "The Greek" ran the shop though. I went out with Jimmy Daly (Burroughs) FOREVER and when we weren't at any of those places we could be found at Jimmy's house. Anyone that remembers me will remember Anne and Jimmy Daly! We were always together. My parents had sold our house on Osbourne Avenue in 1970 and my family had moved to Pape Avenue, so it was to Pape Avenue I went. I went back to school (Danforth) and continued my education. I decided that school was too much work and quit to get a job. After finding a job I moved out from Pape Avenue and lived on Gamble Ave. After several years there I moved south 1 block to Cosburn Ave. I worked for Singer Lighting on Carlaw from 1972 until 1980 (this is where I met my husband).
