Annette's Story

Life I met my husband, Al Rivera, at Robert's Hawaii. We kind of clicked when we first met. He has four children and I have four children. His family has a total of five and my family has a total of five. We were also married to our former spouses for the same amount of time. We have been married for 15 years and we have a total of 10 grandchildren. We both enjoy bowling and fishing. We communicate alot and he is very supportive in everything I do. We have an open communication and he puts alot of laughter in my life. Our marriage is based 100% both ways. He lets me enjoy the things I like to do, like going out with friends and visa versa; my marriage is a very relaxing relationship. Our children's ages are from 25 to 35 years old. Our grandchildren's ages are from 1 to 15.We enjoy our grandchildren very much and spend as much time as we can with our family. College I attended Hawaii Business College after graduation. o school. There were many obstacles in my past life that held me back to reach this goal. I've overcome all these obstacles and since my children are adults, I felt it was time that I pursue my goal. Returning to school gives my grandchildren the determination to work hard in school. I have achieved my Associates Degree in Business Management. I have one more year to complete my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. After receiving my Bachelor's Degree, I am planning to get my Master's and Doctorate Degree in Business Management. It really isn't too late to go back to school. I enjoy it much more than I ever did. My husband and children are totally supportive with my goal and it is my husband that gives me incentives to attain my goal Workplace My first job was a cashier at a supermarket and it gave me the incentive for a better career. I've held many jobs over the years and faced many challenges with the intent for career advancements. I currently work in the airline industry as a technology analyst.
