I live in Plano, Texas and enjoy spending quality time with my husband Enrique and our three children Michelle (26) and her husband Kevin, Nicole (21) and Enrique Gabriel (20) and his wife Jerrika. I am married to Enrique Elias Fabregas (born in Mayaguez but grew up in Cupey) and we have two beautiful grandchildren: Ricardo Gabriel and Roxie. They are the children of Enrique Gabriel and Jerrika. Ricardo Gabriel just turned a year old and Roxie is 3 1/2 months old. They are the center of our universe. My parents Juan and Carmen Digna are both retired and live close to us in McKinney, Texas. My brother Juan Gabriel is an American Airlines aircraft mechanic and also lives in McKinney with his wife Kimberly and their children Alejandro, Natasha, and Brandon. My sister Lissette is an orchestra teacher and musician in Corpus Christi, Texas. I am involved in activism to support the education of Hispanic chidlren in the Dallas Metroplex. Recuerdo a Sister Anne Eugine con mucho cari~o...hasta cuando me gritaba a todo pulmón desde la entrada del colegio "Annette del Carmen Torres QUI-TA-TE ese pa~uelo de la cabeza!!!" ...Recueden...eran los a~os'70 ;-) Un día me enviaron a la oficina pues había discutido con Sister Maria Antonia porque ella le habia dicho una barbaridad a un amigo y yo juraba que me iba a botar! Cuando le expliqué lo que había pasado me dijo: "Yo hubiera hecho lo mismo." Y me envió de regreso al salón como si nada :-) Recuerdo queridos amigos, amigas y maestros que dejaron una huella como Pepe, Hildi, Carmen Acosta. No me acuerdo de la maestra de inglés de la cual me quejaba tanto en sexto grado...pero a la verdad que aprendí mucho con ella y con los libros del "Readers Digest". Sister Rose tambien era muy buena y cari~osa con nosotros. La tiendita y mis papitas fritas con ketchup eran un manjar...o Munchos con Old Colony ;-) Los torneos y bingos eran un evento social y los kioskos en las fiestas patronales ni se diga! ...Expand for more
