Hello Classmates, I've been enjoying retired life since 1998. I live in Murdock, Florida on two park like acres in a beautiful, custom built home with a heated, tropical waterfall pool and grotto spa...perfect for skinny dipping. I have several hobbies which keep me busy. I've renovated several houses during my retirement and flipped them. I like riding my Harley Road King Classic through the back country roads here in Fl. I've restored/owned many classic Corvettes back in N.Y. and here. Currently, I immensely enjoy driving my C7 Corvette Stingray. My Corvette and I have been to California twice and N.Y. once. I'm a graduate of Ron Fellows Performance Driving School in Spring Mountain, Nevada and I had a blast driving the "Mother Road"...Route 66 through the mountains of Arizona and also driving through the Rocky mountains. old 1934 Ford Hot Rod pickup truck. I built it from a complete pile of junk. At the time (1978), my wife said "you paid $500 for that!!" Well, now it's worth about $50,000. For the motorheads reading this, it has a high performance Chevy small block, Turbo 400 trans and a Camaro rear. Since I mentioned my wife...she drives a new Cadillac SRX and has her own Corvette Stingray convertible.
In my past life: I'm a highly decorated Vietnam War Veteran and I'm proud of my service. I was a Platoon Leader and Company Commander as a First Lieutenant in Vietnam. I served with the 1st Infantry Division. I would like to know if any other 1961 classmates are Vietnam War Veterans besides Stuart Smith.
BTW: I took advantage of the G.I. Bill of Rights and finished college...graduated from N.Y.U.
There's a lot more to my story, but you'll just have to wait until my autobiography is published.
