Anthony's Story
we didn't finish school in stronghurst, we left there in 63. Tony or Anthony joined the Army in 1970, after basic training and AIT tony was sent to VIETNAM , his platoon was on patrole when the viet cong attacked, tony was on point when the main body was attack . being who he was and not thinking of his own safty, he worked his way around to a place where he could help his men he was able to turn...Expand for more
the tide on the cong by taking out a fairly large noumder of them.when the cong withdrew they went in his direction he was killed in that fire fight, His remains wrer returned home, he is barried in arlington, at the base of his tombstone in a glass case are his 2 bronze stares and 1 silver star. i'm his oldest brother i just thought that those of you who remember him might like to know
