April's Story
Life
Funny how time seems to go by so much faster the older you get. I remember sitting in Mr. Mahns class listing to him talk about gross stuff and wondering when this class was going to end. Now almost 30 years later, the days have shortened and there just isn't enough time in a day to finish everything. (So it seems)
As for me and my life, life is good for the most part. Divorced after 20+ years of marriage and have not remarried, kids are all grown and I have 3 grandsons. Anyways that's it for me. Put on a few pounds, still love to laugh and have fun, think of all the old friends, wonder what they're all doing. Most of my family have moved from the Bay Area. Try to make it to the old neighborhood once in awhile, doesn't look the same without the old pink house next to MVHS or the old Baptist Church on the corner. Blackberry Farm...Expand for more
has changed too... We should have a reunion down at Blackberry Farm, that would be cool. Oh well, enough reminiscing about Cupertino and the good old days. Hope all is well with everyone and maybe I'll make it to our 30th in 2008. WOW, 2008!!!
School
I have alot of good memories of school at MVHS... Mr. Mahan's Reading Class which we talked about everything but reading, sleeping in Mr. Lawerence's Government Class, Rally Court where you could always find someone you knew to hang with. School wasn't too important to me at the time but having fun with my friends, going to Football & Basketball Games, Water Polo and Swim Meets, McDonald's at Vallco, Shopping at Valley Fair, that was important...
Workplace
After being a stay at home mom for more than 20 years, I now have a career as a Sales and Marketing Rep for a Title Company.
