Life It seems like a lot has happened since graduation yet at the same time it seems like not much has happened to me. It's very odd. I ended up marrying my high school sweetheart (Ed Pochatko) in 1993 and it lasted 2 1/2 years. It's ok though...we're still very good friends. I moved back to my home state of North Carolina in 1995 and in 1997 married again to a terrific man...my soul mate, Robert Hill. Six months after we got married, I got pregnant with our first baby. I was diagnosed with diabetes in 1996 but everything seemed to be going ok with the pregnancy. Just 2 short weeks away from a planned c-section, our precious son passed away in utero at 36 weeks. We named him Joseph Daniel...he will live on in our hearts forever. After battling infertility, we just gave up and Robert joined the Army in 2001. In April, 2002 I discovered I was pregnant again! After careful monitoring, our son Nicholas Alexander was born 2 months early at 32 weeks and is now the shining star of our lives. He is such a joy and a happy baby.
