Arnie's Story
Life
Hey, living in Snohomish near old town. Five kids, all grown up and finally out of college, with two grandkids. Playin guitar and working in Seattle as a contractor on software projects. Sailing out of Anacortas to the Canadian San Juan Islands (Alaska in three years), fishing, crabing, and scuba diving. Enjoying the empty nest with Synda and our three bichons. Seem to spend more time on my butt then I would like, but that is part of enjoying the country life. Still need to sail north, record at least six songs and wait for grandkids, nice to have goals. College
Too long at the University of Washington, a little time at University of Puget Sound Law School, and just enough time in San Francisco to get my MBA in Technology Management from Golden Gate University. I wish I had taken Bronson's Music class in the seventh grade at Saint Bernie's on 128t...Expand for more
h Ave S W, and did I miss an opportunity in high school, it was cheaper then but it must have been the war that kept me out of music and shop. I remember seeing Mel Rogenbuck coming out of a class room at the U of W but it was a big place.
Military
Started at Fort Lost in the Woods in Missouri, then to Columbia South Carolina (Jackson), over to Gordon in Georgia and then to Blg 93 at Bolling Air Field outside of the Washington Naval Yard in D.C., the Anacostia river is a gem of a sewer. Spent three years in a business suit with Ford and Carter in their underground bunker beneath the south lawn.. Christmas Cards from Ford and Carter, pens, buttons, 18 trips in the US and Canada and three to England. Nice to see where your money is spent.. VA bought a couple of houses for me...and paid for 74 months of school or was it beer & Bar-b shrimp, not sure.. oh and a large number of suits and sports jackets...
