Arthur's Story
Life
I was one not to stay in any one place until I got much older. I left Houston in 1969 for Florida. I was the skinny, tall and long-haired Texan. I went to 3 High Schools in 2 years. After I graduated, called Houston,TX home again from 1971-1978, then moved to Fort Worth,TX. I have had a chance to travel throughout North America and was in the banking business for 29 years. I finally achieved my lifetime goal. I got a Bachelor's degree and taught Math to "at-risk" students. Zora Gaines at Bellaire HS would be proud of me for giving back and my old banking associates say to me, "What were you thinking?!". I am married to a former Human Resources Director (Vivian), and have an adult aged step-daughter, Rusti. I have had a peaceful, still exciting, and a blessed life. I am healthy and happy despite life's normal tribulations. I retired a few years early. Life is too short. I am now an Ex-Texan that enjoyed life in the Cooper state (Arizona). and now live under a 150 foot Sequoia in Southern Oregon.

Workplace
I called Houston,TX home from 1971-1978, then moved to Fort Worth,TX. I have had a chance to travel throughout North America and was in the banking business for 29 years with a number of now non-existent financial institutions. I pursued more rewarding opportunities (companies that can't fail, be bought, or sold.). I finally achieved my lifetime goal. I got a Bachelor's degree and taught Math to "at-risk" students. I know, what was I thinking. Adults are unpredictable, kids are. Married to a former Human Resources Director (Vivian), and have a adult aged step-daughter, Rusti. I have had a peaceful and blessed life. I am healthy and happy despite life's normal tribulations. Now that I don't work in banking, I grew my hair past my shoulders so I wouldn't look like my college professors, Darn it, I had to ware a shirt and tie again for another 6 years. I retired a few years early. Life is too short. I am now an Ex-Texan enjoying life in Oregon. The only thing I miss about Texas is Mexican food.
