Arthur's Story
Moved around the world from 1972-1992 doing various things for the U.S. government. Primary mission was to support cryptologic operations in support of national interests. Retired from the U.S. Navy, Oct 1992.
Retired May 2017 as the Deputy Chief of Security, Joint Personnel Recovery Agency. Motto: "That others may live...to return with honor..."
Currently an Independent Consultant to DoD/Joint Personnel Recovery Agency providing security support to the agency and warfighter.

The DoD personnel recovery mission is important for a number of reasons:
- To return isolated personnel to friendly control
- To deny the enemy a potential source of intelligence
- To prevent the exploitation of captured personnel in propaganda programs designed to influence our national interest and military strategy
- To maintain morale and the national will.
We provide operational support, training, education, oversight, guidance, analysis, and technology integration to enable commanders, forces, and individuals to prevent, prepare for, and respond to isolating events across all phases of operations. These things we do that others may live to return with honor.
