Ashley's Story
I went to Churchill High for a year and a half (9th grade and some of 10th grade) before switching to Churchill Alternative school, in which I attended for the rest of 10th grade and the beginning of 11th grade. I then went and got my GED because they literally had nothing more they could teach me. I must say though, the teachers and staff there were amazing and really cared for us!
After high school, I moved to southern California where I began working at a dog daycare and boarding facility. BEST JOB EVER! Met my husband and fell in love with him at the 2nd dog daycare and boarding facility I worked for, we got married 3 months after meeting; 2 months after we began dating!
Soon after we got married we moved back to Eugene, Oregon cause we both were done with the heat. After 6 or 7...Expand for more
years of being close to my family, we decided to move to Nevada to be closer to my husbands family.
We have now been married for over 8 years and have an amazing little boy together, with plans of growing our family even more!
My husband and I are both believers and followers of Jesus Christ and everything the Christian Bible teaches. We are Old School Christians, not Progressive Christians... we don't believe Gods word changes just because the people on earth change; His word is the same yesterday, today and forevermore.
I know Churchill class of '03 has had at least 1 reunion that I couldn't attend due to financial inability to travel, but hopefully we have one again soon that way I can reconnect (being I don't use social media)!
