Ashley's Story
Life
Unfortunately, life has been quite rough in this neck of the woods. I sort of faded out from school after becoming sick. I'm still recovering ever so slowly, but I'm making progress. I had a brief adventure while living in California for a year, and I really enjoyed it. I'm dreaming of the day that I can become a good Systems Administrator and live in Silicon Valley.
As far as other things go, I'm single (no surprise there), I have no kids (nor do I want any), and I still live with my grandmother and mother (mostly due to sickness -- I really want to get the hell out of here). I spend of my time playing games online, working on projects, or reading. If anyone here plays Final Fantasy XI, let me know. :p
College
Shortly after finishing in 2003, I had the brilliant idea of immediately going to art school in California. I was still sick, but I was thinking that maybe I just need a new environment. Well, no... that didn't work. However, the people I met were really awesome. I used to hang with a group of guys who would sit in the student lounge and play video games, card games, or watc...Expand for more
h movies. They even introduced me to role playing, and let me participate in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Unfortunately, I fail at role playing.
There were no meal programs there, so I basically lived off of turkey and cheese sandwiches, pizza, shrimp fried rice, and burgers. Eventually, I wasn't able to stay there much longer, and mom had been worried sick, so she got me to move back home. Immediately after that, I started attending Houston Community College. At first it didn't go too well, but last Summer I was able to go through Composition I. Then in the fall, I managed to get through College Algebra and Introduction to Sociology. 3.6 GPA for the win. Except, I owe the school money now due to some financial aid crap. Therefore, I am screwed.
Workplace
Work? What the hell is that?
Ok so, I worked for all of 2 weeks sometime in 2003. I was a cashier at McDonald's in the Galleria. As hard as I tried, I couldn't stay well enough to handle it, and had to resign.
Haven't really worked since. Sad, ain't it?
Military
You really wouldn't want someone like me in the military. :p
