Before becoming an Army wife all I saw was hearts and happily ever after. I never saw the pain an Army wife can feel when the only way she can fall asleep is by crying herself to sleep, and looking in her babies eyes and hopin that they are not scared of the man who is called daddy when she sees him again. I never realized the games the heart and mind plays against each other on the wonders of if he is ok, and is he thinking of me and missing me......Said by me when reality hit me that I have to be strong and wait for my husband to come home".
