Ashley's Story
School
My Junior and Senior years went by so fast. After transferring from Central, there were so many people and things to learn about at Marion-Franklin. Most of my memories there are a blurr, except some friends, Mamacita Jackson and Ms. Moore.
Spanish class was a blast because of Ms. Jackson, but I can honestly say that my last two years of high school stand out primarily because of the Marionettes. I had sooooo much fun! I made new friends and enjoyed dancing! It was so challenging, learning routines, perfecting performances, and being so proud of the fact that we were...Expand for more
the City, State and National Champions in our Division. It was awesome.
My memories are also a blurr probably because during my Senior year, my father remarried and we moved to Westerville. Yes, I commuted every morning from Westerville and went to work after practice (Drill Team or other).
Other than being the "Class Tallest Female", being a bench warmer on the basketball team, running for class president against Kelly Hill (losing miserably), and singing a song in Spanish in front of the whole school during a talent show(?)- I'm sure I am remembered for being a Marionette.
