I grew up working in my family's concrete construction business pouring and finishing concrete--hard work. From elementary through high school I was heavily involved in 4-H from the local club, county, state, and national levels and won numerous top awards ranging from home economics to large animals throughout my long 13-year 4-H career. I am still involved in 4-H, however it is on a limited basis as a judge for shows and projects. While in high school I worked on a dairy as a Replacement Milker in addition to the family business and 4-H; I was a very busy lady.
