Bambi's Story
Life
I met my husband while attending Lincoln Christian College. We were married in August 1988. We have one son, Alex, who was born in November 1999. My husband and I both found work in the Lincoln area and decided to make our home there. We have made lots of friends through the college, church, and work.
College

Workplace
I am currently working for Mental Health Centers of Central Illinois in Springfield. I am a case manager working with adults who have severe mental illnesses. I help them manage their daily lives and try to help them improve their quality of life. My senior year of college I started teaching in a daycare center. I taught in two different daycare centers and in a Head Start program for a total of 9 years. Then I was a case manager for foster children for 6 1/2 years before taking the job I have now.
