Barb's Story
Life
Hi all. Well where to start. I graduated from PGSS in '79. I did attend the 10 yr reunion in '89. Since then I met my current partner in 99 and lived in white rock for about a year. Then in july 2000 we moved to Manitoba. That is where my partner grew up most of his life. We bought a house in Richer,MB in july 2001 and my partner started his own business. He buys and sells used vehicles ( he's a dealer ). As well as in the RV service industry. We have a mobile service, where my partner will go to ppl and parks to work on RV's. We actually have about 20 or so parks within a 100 km radius of where we live. We are about 3 kms south of the transcanada hiway. I love living here in the country with our 3 cats. Life is never boring. lol We are also currently in the process of building a new shop so that my partner of 8 yrs can work on RV's during the fall and winter months as well. n doing home care for the past 5 yrs or so here. But am now on permanent medical disability. So now help my partner as much as I can in his company (Alloy Industries Ltd). Doing paperwork and picking up parts , etc. We've now got our shop up ( 36 x 60 ) can now do insurance claims on RV's in the winter ( big bucks, hubby can pretty much do everything & anything involved in fixing RV's and RV season is from Mid April til Mid October and keeps us busy. Lots of fun. Have 2 granddaughters now to spoil. One is 3 yrs old living in Prince George with her mom(oldest daughter) and the latest one is 3 mths old living with her parents in Mission ( our youngest daughter and son-inlaw). The latest picture posted is of our youngest grandbaby. My son (now 26) living in Abbottsford is doing well too. Well that's if for now, if you want to find out more, I would love to hear from you. Bye for now, Barb Smith
