Barbara's Story
After graduating from HN in 1969, I went to Wayne State majoring in elementary education and graduating in 1973. I returned to Omaha and began my teaching career at St. Philip Neri. Later I moved to St. Bernard's and was hired by Omaha Public Schools in 1982. Over the next 24 years I taught at Dundee, Pawnee, worked in the CADR...Expand for more
E program and became the Instructional Facilitator at Jackson. I retired in 2006. Since then I was hired back at Jackson as a literacy tutor working 3 mornings a week. I've also been spending time developing my knitting, gardening and baking skills. I enjoy volunteering for Omaha Performing Arts and the Benson Branch library.
