To begin with, I'm not sure who's been screwing around with my profile, but I don't like it! I'm perfectly capable of filling in my own info, and whoever messed with my info doesn't know me at all! That said, here's MY info from ME, Myself, and I:
I am from Portland, I've been singel since 1986. I graduated from Villa St. Rose in Portland, Oregon in June, 1964.
My interests include crafts, jewelry, ceramics, all the CSI, Law & Order shows, and anything Syfi.

I'm hoping to locate former VSR Roses from Portland, Oregon --
I have lived in Portland, Oregon most of my life, but in July, 2008 I moved to Harrisburg, Oregon to be with my daughter, her husband and their small daughter. I still visit Portland frequently to see my dear friends that I left behind, but didn't desert! In June, 2010 I moved into a one bedroom apartment in Junction City, but I'm still close enough to my daughter and granddaughter that I see them quite often.
OK, the year is now 2014. In February of 2012 I took a bad tumble when my achiles tendon snapped...Expand for more
. Yes, I can now walk again -- took me almost a year to get thru that one, but my doc still said I can no longer live alone - too much falling and not always someone around when I needed help. So now I am in an assisted living facility in the Santa Clara area of Eugene. I really love it here cause it's kinda like a family of seniors, and everyone keeps a watch out for everyone else.
We also have caregivers who take care of us during the day, and we get all the medical care we need. My daughter had banished me from her kitchen when I lived with her cause I kept burning her good pans in the kitchen. But here we get 3 good meals every day, and the food is pretty good. I've got lots of friends here that I get really close to, but that usually winds up in heart break cause we lose so many. When I came here there were 2 ladies over 100, and one turned shortly after I got here. We lost 2 of th 3, and now we have one more, with 3 more who'll be 100 before the year is out.
Anyway, for all of my Rose sisters out there, I'm doing fine and I'm reasonably happy here. Whoever you are, I'd dearly love to hear from you!
