Barbara's Story
My legal name is Bobbie Jean. The Catholic Church demanded the name Barbara to be baptized. I have never been called Barbara, except by teachers, and people who did not know better.
I have one daughter who was in Hollywood, so I spent a lot of time in CA. I have worked off Broadway, as an actress and dancer. I also have a Bachelors Degree in Social Work, and a Minor in Psychology. I was a counselor for people diagnosed with schizophrenia and helped them get into Re-socialization Programs. I have been married twice, and I am currently single again. I have lived in Stamford, Ct., Palm Beach Florida, Hollywood, California, Milford, Ct., New Haven, Ct., and New Jersey, among other places.
I love adventure, and have done some fun stuff! I climbed the pyramid in Chitzi Nitza, gone down to the bottom of the ocean in a World War II submarine, gotten lost in a rain forest, rode bareback down cliffs in Mexico,(never again on that one) climbed into old silver mines, cut out on the sides of mountains in Ari...Expand for more
zona, danced on stage in New Orleans and won the contest, and of course went to Woodstock, among many, many, other other fun and crazy things. My next venture will be, white water rafting down the Snake River, in Jackson Hole, WY. Elsie Alderman (our class) said that she would go with me for that one. Elsie is married to my first cousin. Who else is game? Age is just a number! My daughter says, "Indiana Jones has nothing on me." Life is too short. I have seen a lot of heartbreak in my personal life, and with the people around me. I embrace life, in good times and hard times. Of course there is a lot more to my story. But that is the Highlights in a Nutshell

I always wanted to be a Rich Old Bag when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a Crock idea. As it turns out, they were Right.
Matt Dillon the cowboy from Gunsmoke is my Hero. One of my dogs is named Dillion.
I am into animal rescue groups. Both my dogs are from a rescue.
High School Reunion Surprise would be how I look.
