My first job was working in a doctor's office. I had thought of becoming a medical assistant, but instead worked as a dental assistant for many years, then had a partnership in a gift shop selling locally handcrafted items in a Colorado mountain community for over 8 years. I sold out to my partner when we moved to Colorado Springs ...Expand for more
and entered the dental field again by a fluke. I seldom looked for a job...they always found me. I have worked as an office manager and retired... only to come out of retirement three years later to work for the same dentist again. I love the office, the patients and most of all my doc..he's a peach! Wouldn't trade my position for anything.
