Barbara's Story
Life
In 1971 my Mother and I moved to South Florida. It was the best move I ever made! Even given the Hurricanes and hot weather during the summer months, I wouldn't want to live in the North again. I lost Mom in 2001, she was 89 years old so I am very blessed to have had her with me all that time. I am single and very happy with my life. inger on a part time basis. I have worked for a local Community College for nearly 25 years as an Accountant. Considering I hated Math in High School, I find my line of work ironic! One of my great loves is the fostering of abandoned cats. I work with a local no kill shelter to rescue and find homes for abandoned animals.
All in all, I am very pleased with my life and very grateful to God to be here.
