Barbara's Story
I went to St. Mary's Catholic School in Cheyenne, Wyoming, from Kindergarten until 6th grade - Sept. 1949 until May 1956. Then Johnson Junior High in Cheyenne for part of 7th grade. We moved to Billings, Montana. So I then
went to Lewis and Clark Junior High in 7th grade. THEN, we moved to a different school district in Billings and I attended Lincoln Junior High in Billings for 8th and 9th grade. Then, onto Billings Senior High for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade, graduating in 1962. So if I'd stayed at St. Mary's, I'd have graduated with the 1962 class...Expand for more

After graduating, I went to what was then Eastern Montana State College of Education for one semester. At the age of 27, I went back to college as a single Mom, working full time and going to college at night, and attended the Dallas County Community Colleges, received a Bachelor's from what is now the University of North Texas in 1977 and Master's Degree in Counseling in 1981 from East Texas State College in Commerce, now named Texas A & M University Commerce.
I'm in private practice as a counselor in Dallas, Texas (actually Plano, Texas - a suburb).
