A hot and smoky summer! Haven't listed the farm yet but working on getting things ready. 2018...A little change since Feb post. We are not going to Boise after all! My pulmonologist said last wee that I'm doing very well and don't really need a lower altitude. So for now, staying put, but eventually, we'll end up in Boise. Going to the Moose Lodge tonight and have corn beef and cabbage with Jim and Karen Sexton, be nice to have an evening out. FEBRUARY 2018....Soon approaching our 7th anniversary. Very recently, Vern and i both got the flu. Vern recovered in a few days, but i kept getting worse and ended up in the hospital for 6 days! Been home now for almost 2 weeks, on 1L of oxygen for a little longer. Recommended we move to a lower altitude, so probably in May, we'll take our RV to Boise and hang out there for a few months, see how it goes. Vern leased the farm out a couple of months ago, so that has made it easier for this decision. July 2011 I last wrote that I'd be traveling around for the next year. Well, things change! I did travel to Bend and lived with my oldest daughter from mid-February until the end of March. Then moved to Klamath Falls and lived with my cousin Sandi until the end of April. Then, Vern Howard and I drove to Cannon Beach, OR, where we met up with Jim and Linda Wood and Dottie Miles, and Vern and I married on April 30th! We honeymooned down the coast for a few days and arrived home to start our new life! And it is truly wonderful for both of us!
