Barbara's Story
Life
I live in Northern Colorado with my husband, Dave, and our son, Kevin. Our daughter, Karen, lives an hour's drive away. Dave works at home as a design engineer for a small tech firm based in Boulder. I'm a retired self-employed medical transcriptionist. I'm a volunteer for Project Linus, crocheting afghans for infants and kids who are hospitalized or in trauma situations. I enjoy listening to audiobooks while I crochet, mostly nonfiction. Hope to return to California for a visit sometime in the near future. I miss the beach! School
Has it really been 50 years since we graduated from FHS? Wow!
I have fond memories of spending time with friends, singing in the choir, being a Cascaid, serving in student government, and taking some interesting classes (Creative Writing with Ms. Gundlach was a particular favorite). Being a Lettergirl was fun, except for battling a fear of heights as we stood at the top of the bleachers. Remember the fire in the bell tower? Scary! FHS was a wonderful school and I treasure my memories from high school.
