Barbara Ann's Story
.....41 years since graduation...
where have I been and what have I been doing......
married Bill Walsh,(class of 67)April 1970
Bill was in the Air Force so we moved to California,then to Anchorage,Alaska
California was a good tour,acquired good friends and wonderful memories.
Alaska without a doubt was a beautiful place, also good friends and wonderful memories. Looking back, that was a great time, however I had so many issues/problems back then, by the time I got my head out of my *** it was too late......
Life was not going the way I expected.

divorced in 1978, I moved back to NY.

remarried in Feb 1981. Marco

Marco was a volunteer fireman,so I decided to get involved in the Ladies Auxiliary. What a busy time. Working a full time job,keeping up with a very active little boy,Little league,and soccer,school and Fire Dept functions.
Marco was Chief of the fire dept,for 6yrs we had additional obligations and activiti...Expand for more
es. Conventions were interesting,and fun,they were always out of state and we were able to see many differant places.When I look back to those days, I wonder how did I get it all done? I wish I had some of that energy now.

Paul graduated from Holy Trinity High School in Hicksville,1995

Through the years family moved away to Florida,Virginia,California.

my grandmother died in 1989, 3months after her 100th birthday. MY dad,her son,died in 1990,only enjoying 1year of his beautiful retirement home in florida. I still miss them both very much.
Mom is 92, living with my brother in virginia beach, dimentia has taken her to a place far away.
.
We moved to North Carolina in June 1999
plenty of outdoor activities, weather is warmer longer.
Paul and Marco return to Upstate NY to hunt,they miss the cold and snow.
We live near Lake Norman, so fishing is still the thing to do.

Still working, but looking forward to retirement!
