Barbara's Story

Cleary Business College after gratuation and part time at Ridgewood Hospital. Worked for E.J. Korvette's in Redford, MI. and was transferred to Chicago as an Undercover Detective. I married in 1969 and moved to Eau Claire, MI where my husband died of cancer in 1987. I retuned to Michigan State and received my Nursing Home Administration License. am still doing great. Remarried in 2000 and retired in 2002 when my husband did. We love to travel and are involved in the Special Olympics through Cass County Citivan Club. I'm also involved with Beta Mu Sorority and American Legion Auxillary. My husband is retired from the Army after 30 years. So weeks are so busy you need an appointment so see us. But busy is better at our age. We are dealing with my husbands cancer right now so that also keeps us busy but it find it is better not to sit at home.
