Life I attended SMSU in Springfield, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Media/Communications with a minor in Journalism. I was hired at KYTV (KY3-NBC affiliate) in March of 1994, and have been employed there ever since. My title is Production Assistant/Producer/Chyron--which is a fancy title for the type of graphics/effects computer I work on. I basically build graphics & text pages for news & commercials. I also produce some of the KY3 for Kids PSAs and have done producing for feature segments of the show "Ozarks Behind the Scenes". Video editing is something I¿ve learned in the past year (2008-09), so I can now add ¿editor¿ to my list of skills. Since the Springfield Cardinals play in town, I have the privilege of operating the High Home camera during the games that air on KY3 or CW (formerly UPN). That means I am the main action camera. It's a blast! For some games I actually do the graphics--which means I'm the one who types in the players' game stats that you see on screen when they either pitch or are up to bat.
