Barrie's Story
I was Barrie Smith in 1979 when I graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High. My mom sold the house and went sailing around the world... so I wasn't in touch with Miami-based classmates. I attended the University of Florida from 79-84, graduated with a degree in Public Relations and Journalism. Worked for the Orlando Sentinel for four years, then lived in Melbourne (FL) for 8 years. I am happily married (why my name is Barrie Byron). I am a stepmother (three adult children) and a step-GrandBarrie.
I love living in Lawrenceville, NJ and Boynton Beach, FL. Life is good!
