Becky's Story
Life
Hi everyone! Nothing too crazy or adventurous here...just livin' life...and life is good! Well, let's see..after highschool I went on to college at S.C.C. then transferred to V.C.C. to get my degree in Dental Hygiene. I continued working in the dental field for another 15 years as a dental hygienist and LOVED it! I met my husband, Michael Graham (graduated from Lake Mary High 1985) and we married in 1994. He is my everything. My true best friend and love of my life. We now have two daughters, ages 7 and 8. What a blessing they have been. I stopped working when our second daughter was born so I could stay at home with them and enjoy every second with them while it lasts! They grow up so fast! I know many of you have kids already in college! That blows my mind! I home school both of my girls and we all thoroughly enjoy it! It is a fun and challenging journey for us. We are so busy! We take homeschooling seriously but keep it fun. I still live in Sanford (Paola). I live right next door to the house I grew up in. My father still lives next to us in that house, but we recently lost my mother to cancer and our lives will never be the same without her. We miss her more t...Expand for more
han I could ever express. My heart goes out to each and everyone of you who have or has ever lost a loved one....until we lost my mother, we had not had that experience and it is such a lonely, isolating and deeply sad time. I carry that loss with me everyday. I'm just extremely grateful that I had such a loving mother and I strive to be the same to my two daughters. On to a lighter note! Our family loves to camp~ we go to the Keys every summer for a week of camping, scuba diving, fishing and lobstering. We spend LOTS of time on the water... skiing, tubing and wake-boarding. Mostly you will find us on the Mount Dora chain of Lakes since my sister, Susan lives on the Lake out there. I love photography, decorating and am trying to learn guitar and piano. We are all big time nature lovers in this family! We live out on 20 acres and have a menagerie of pets...a yellow lab, an African grey parrrot, a saltwater tank, goldfish, a pet mouse and hermit crabs. Life is good. I loved seeing everyone at the reunions and hope to see everyone again in a few years...or sooner if I happen to run into you at the grocery store or Walmart! LOL! Email me anytime!
