Becky's Story
Life
After graduating from Fairdale in 1981, I went onward to the University of Louisville where I spent one year deciding on who I was and what I wanted to do with my life. Art was always my dream (which no one ever knew) but after a year, I decided to become a nurse. I graduated in 86 from U of L and went to work at Kosair in the burn unit and then critical care. Around the year 2000, I decided that teaching would interesting so I finished my Master's degree in Nursing Education and Administration and proceeded to teach at the college level. nce Nursing Theory for an online university. I teach Nursing Review Courses in the summer across the nation as well. Not much time for photography and painting so I have written four CD-ROM's for student use in nursing. I did marry David Gesler and we have three kids, two girls and one boy, all of whom act and look like him!! I finally was able to visit Europe this past summer on a cruise. My intention in life was to actually live in France and now I am convinced that I will retire there!
I decided to post this after hearing about the reunion. It is strange getting older, I am now teaching some of my classmates kids!!
