I graduated from St. Joseph's of the Palisades High School. I graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy, served on active duty on board the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN - 69) and at Commander U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command and Commanding Officer U.S. Naval Station Panama Canal, Republic of Panama and later in the Naval Reserves. I graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas Texas. Later, I joined the U.S. Department of State and retired from the Naval Reserves.
