Life
Whats happened to me? 2 weeks out of high school landed a job as an Engineering Variatypist at an Engineering Co., worked my way up to Drafter then Checker to Lead. September '72 job transfer from St. Louis to Northern CA (SF Bay Area) remaining in the engineering field doing board drafting and checking of Power, Cabling, Equipment drawings and some Architectural. January 75 took job transfer from California to New Jersey(worked in Totowa, lived in Sparta). Loved going to New York on weekends. One child (female: born in New Jersey, December 75). April 76 back to St. Louis. April 77 back to SF Bay Area. Started using mainframe computers for drafting (electrical, mechanical), then progressed to PCs. April 77 to August 99 lived in the city and county of San Mateo, CA. August 99 to present reside in Santa Clara County, CA. August 2007 completed 30 yrs at my job - Current job title: Mechanical Design Engineer, Sr. - 1.5yrs taught adults to use software AutoCAD & Microsoft Office products. I occasionally return home to St. Louis to visit family, one of my brothers and a host of cousins and friends. I attended Our Lady of Visitation grade school K through 4th, St. Edward King grade school 5th through 8th. Nicknames: Family and close friends call me "Deanie" most everyone else calls me "Dino" - PEACE!

work opportunities in areas that I never imagined would have been available to me otherwise. I am fortunate to have worked, as well as work with people who see potentials in me for doing new, different and challenging things, which has greatly enhanced and advanced my work career. I have been encouraged as well as mentored to pursue avenues and skills far beyond my job description. My most recent job venture as a result of Lockheed Martin (the division I "worked" for at the time) winning a contract with the Department of Transportation Security Administration (TSA). For almost 6 months teams of us were dispersed to major and outlying airports across the US to do surveys resulting in implementations of TSA's template to improve passenger throughput in the airport terminals feeding all air carriers. I personally, was stationed in the Pacific Northwest with Seattle, Washington as my home base (BEAUTIFUL country!). This assignment was totally out of my job description. I was a negotiator, mediator, communicator and an implementation coordinator. It was a very challenging experience as well as a tremendous learning experience. Also, although I have listed several companies on my work list (Butler merged with Arde and became Butler/Arde), (Ford Aerospace was bought out by Loral then Loral merged several of its divisions with Lockheed Martin) therefore, I have really only worked for 3 companies in my entire work career.
