Bernie's Story
Bernie is from Superior, Wisconsin. She is widowed.. Bernie's schools include Cathedral School, Central High School, East High School, St. Francis Elementary School. Bernie later attended the University of Wisconsin–Superior. Upon graduation she taught Business at UWS for 1 1/2 years.

My students were fantastic, It was most interesting when I had the opportunity to teach some of my fellow classmates children. Those of you whose children had me for a teacher stayed in touch via those good old parent conferences. And, of course, those of you who came to the conferences had absolutely fantastic and very smart children.
