Beth's Story
I recently read an article about my life, loves and ambitions in high school. It seems nothing has changed. Travel has been an integral part of my life. I still love writing poems and stories. I have lived all over the world and have documented personal stories in blog format as "Pages Of My Life" on my personal page justmebethb.spaces.live.com The page is filled with endless blogs about every possible topic and also photo albums, poems and stories I have written. I have three wonderful children...all of whom are now young adults. I have been to some amazing places and enjoy the diversity of friendships from all over the world. I am a humanitarian ...first and foremost...having had the pleasure to change countless lives for the better. I remember high school like it was yesterday... and hold in my heart many happy memories of wonderful people, places and events. After leaving school... I went on to continue my modeling career...danced for a living for a while...held administrative positions in a variety of industries...spent many years in financially related fields. My favorite occupation involved contract negotiation and administration on a highly complex project for the federal government. ets, mainline utilities, parks, tot lots... negotiating amenities...1600 workers, a bevy of architects and engineers and one "me". I have owned a number of small businesses...but am just too happy-go-lucky to have any real drive or ambition. My hardest job was raising my three children alone... over multiple decades. Not at all what I had planned...but we did the best we could to turn life's lemons into lemonade. I do not smoke ...or drink...(unless I am on a tropical island somewhere or have cause to celebrate) and live a very clean cut and wholesome lifestyle. I enjoy living for a few months here and a few months there...checking in on loved ones who depend on me...and then sampling and tasting more of the world one bite at a time. My next stop will most likely by either the Provence area of France or a warm island somewhere. The "now" profile picture was taken in March of 2010 as I celebrated my birthday on an extended vacation from which I have yet to return. May life hold wonderful possibilities for each and every one of us...and may we keep our hearts and minds open always to new and perhaps exciting people, places and events yet to unfold. It was my most sincere pleasure to have known each and every one of you in my lifetime. Who knows...someday we may meet again.
