Bettina's Story
Life
I have 3 beautiful little girls that are growing up too fast; ages: 11, 9 and 6 in 2008. After 10 long years, I am now SINGLE! They are all by the same man, who also attended Garinger and graduated in June '97! I am a certified Phlobotomist and EKG Tech. I am also a certified Medical Office Administration Specialist and may be returning to school for the last time to finish my medical cert studies in Physical Therapy. I will be pruchasing my 1st home this year (fall of 2008). My children attend school with a lot of other Garinger Alumni's children; so it is fun to run into them and talk about high school.
I have an apartment here in Charlotte, NC, near Huntersville. You know, people can change over 10 yrs. Some grow up, get tall, get thick, get slim, get crazy, get married etc. I have stayed the same, just in case anyone is wondering. I am still short, although I grew about 3 inches since '97. I am now 5'0 even and I weigh 150 lbs.; not fat! I must clarify that. I will be posting my picture really soon; that should be a shocker for those that have not seen me in awhile. Hope to get some responses! I've seen a lot of people who all pretty much look the same; just more mature, as we all should be! 10 years is a long time!
I would love for those of you who ...Expand for more
know me or at least remember me, to drop me a nice hello from time to time so that we can reconnect. It will be interesting finding out what old friends or old enemies (I had few), have been doing over the years. Hope to speak to soon! Take care!
School
Man, in school, I was sooo into my now childrens father, that I didn't think much of anything else except my girlfriends. I just wanted high school to be fun for me. I didn't care about being popular or being in cliques or being in clubs with popular, whorish, nasty people; no cheerleaders or athletes. I just want to hurry and get through it and get out of school for good.
Um, I had good friends and some enemies, but none to the point that I ever had to fight or physically defend myself! I had some who didn't like me because my childrens father and I were best friends and we were together a lot and ate lunch together and then in 12th grade, we were expexting our first child together. But other than that, I didn't do much. I had a hug attatchment to my Applied Economics teacher in the 12th grade, Coach Floyd! I think that he probably was the one that inspired me the most because he always stayed real with me and treated me like one of his own children while I was at school. He was the realest teacher at Garinger!
