from Butler, we moved to Detroit, Michigan. I became a teacher, my biggest mistake in life, for a couple of months. You see I became pregnant! Joe and I started our family. I later went back to work at the International, UAW. This was my third time going back there. I found office work suited me much better than teaching and I did not have to take my work home. When I finally retire for good, I was what we called a Systems Administrator which was just someone who had control of all the computer input and output. The job required travelling once every 18 months and that was when I first went to Las Vegas. I guess you could say I that was when I began to love it. I later became a Certified Duncan Ceramics teacher which I used to teacher Senior Ceramics for several years after leaving my paying job.
